This is a maligned graphic mod I've been working on over the past year or so. I've rebuilt it quite a few times and am doing so again for the Entrenchment Expansion. I hope to actually finish it this time around.

 

I'm currently working on the TEC effects. Unfortunately this modding thing is still new to me, so its taking me a little while to turn out new particle effects.

heh, I'm adjusting all siege cycles up to 20 seconds in the WLd2 mod to save some hassle. Plus I like big boom. You can't do big boom in under 10 seconds.

that was an awesome video!

one thing, on the marza dreadnought, could you change the firing sequence delay to 1 second more, because in the video, as soon as the first blast would dissipate, the next one would launch. It would be better if there was a second to let the effect sink into the user.

Awesome effects. The only thing I'd change would be to make the explosion from the Desolator's laser different.

Ha! You should've seen when I had it cranked to 160 bursts.
I'll look at it again though.

I would like to but I don't quite know how to make my own explosions and stuff yet. :/

I watched the video (Awesome mod btw) and those siege weapons were awesome. Only thing I thought looked odd was after the Revelation's blast hits the planet, the burst ring was perpendicular to the planet, instead of parallel. Maybe it was the camera angle, but thats what it looked like.

Hi guys. I'm posting another video.

I'm posting a new video to get some feedback on the new faction siege animations. I've toned them down a little compared to the last version so they're not too over the top in mass.

yeah, those code pigeons get me too. some times its the gremlins as well. those sneaky bastards!

i saw the updated video, and its AMAZING!!! That had me really excited!
I LOVED the TEC one, it was just epic.

I'm trying to give each faction a unique way of delivering pain to its destination.
Currently:
TEC - Missiles/Siege Cannon
Vasari - Eradication beam/Orange explodey beam
Advent - Plasma Globes/ Plasma Field

So the Vasari kind of have the beam market cornered. :/

What specifically don't you like about the plasma globes?
Are they moving too similar to the TEC nukes?
